Guidelines for Authors

The International Journal of Education, Humanities, and Social Sciences (IJEHSS) welcomes high-quality, original submissions that contribute to academic excellence and global scholarship. Authors are requested to adhere strictly to the following guidelines to ensure smooth review and publication.

Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts must be written in clear, academic English. Submissions should be formatted in Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced, with 1-inch margins. The standard length for research papers is 5,000–8,000 words, including references, tables, and figures. Shorter works such as case studies or book reviews should range between 2,000–4,000 words.

All references and in-text citations must follow the APA (7th edition) style. Tables, figures, and charts should be clearly numbered, titled, and placed at appropriate positions within the text. Authors are encouraged to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency before submission.

Manuscript Structure

A full-length research article should be organized as follows:

  • Title Page – Title, author(s) names, affiliations, ORCID (if available), and corresponding author details.
  • Abstract – 200–300 words summarizing objectives, methods, results, and conclusions, followed by 4–6 keywords.
  • Introduction – Background, research problem, and objectives.
  • Literature Review – Theoretical framework and relevant studies.
  • Methodology – Research design, data collection, and analysis procedures.
  • Results and Discussion – Findings with appropriate analysis and interpretation.
  • Conclusion – Summary of key insights, limitations, and recommendations.
  • References – Complete list of works cited, formatted in APA style.
  • Acknowledgements (optional) – Recognition of funding, institutional, or personal support.

Submission Process

Manuscripts should be submitted electronically through the journal’s official email or submission system. Submissions must be original and unpublished, and should not be under review elsewhere. Each manuscript undergoes an initial editorial screening, followed by a double-blind peer review by subject experts.

Ethical Standards

  • All submissions are checked using plagiarism detection software. Papers with significant similarity will be rejected.
  • Authors must ensure proper acknowledgment of all sources and declare any conflicts of interest.
  • Research involving human participants must comply with ethical guidelines and include necessary approvals.

Publication Fees

An Article Processing Charge (APC) may apply to accepted manuscripts to cover editorial, review, and open access publication costs. Authors will be informed of the fee structure upon acceptance.

Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain the copyright of their published work. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC-BY), allowing unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction, provided the original work is properly cited.
